In ancient Greek mythology, the Muses are goddesses of the arts, literature and science, and the source of knowledge for songs, poetry and music. To “muse” is to think or to ponder about something.

And that is our mission: to inspire the Malaysian youth to think and to be self-aware, to absorb whatever knowledge there is out there, from science to arts, to literature and music.

Founded on Valentine’s Day 2020, we aim to be the premier media site where Malaysians are inspired to freely express themselves. We dabble in topics on national entertainment, lifestyle, relationships and borderline taboo topics to inspire and amuse the average Malaysian millennial.

At The Malaysian Muse, we believe that everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard.

I think hard times are coming when we will be wanting the voices of writers who can see alternatives to how we live now and can see through our fear-stricken society and its obsessive technologies. We will need writers who can remember freedom. Poets, visionaries – the realists of a larger reality.
